Play the once a day challenge and complete the word grid, release letters in the anagram, build the daily anagram, and compete on leaderboards
Build 5 valid horizontal words to start. Invalid words shake and turn red – tweak and try again
If you are struggling, type * and the word will be completed with blank tiles, allowing you to submit the game, but not score points
Palindromes (same word forward and backward) and semordnilaps (a different word backward) score double
After you submit, the game finds any other valid words in the grid that run edge-to-edge in any direction (horizontal, vertical, diagonal, forwards, backwards). Set these up while making your 5 words to boost your score
You can join multiple leaderboards (friends, family…)
Play once, compete everywhere – your daily score posts to every leaderboard you are in
Weekly Medals: fight for Gold each week; early leads can be hunted down
Tip: Margana does not score bonus points for the daily anagram or Margana madness – use that edge
Unlock letters as you play and build the daily anagram for a big bonus. If you use all the letters for the anagram you will earn +20 points. You can submit shorter anagrams, but you will not receive the bonus points
Tip: Release the letters in the anagram by using them in the grid - the anagram word is worth an extra 20 points if you use get the longest anagram. Any valid word with any length will also be accepted
Create 8 touching letters spelling 'Margana' to earn those letter points and +30 points bonus. Look out for this random day each week
Tip:Margana will let you know when the Margana madness day has arrived
A word that reads the same forward and backward (e.g., kayak ↔ kayak). These score double
Two valid words formed in opposite directions (e.g., keels ↔ sleek). Double points!
Words can run diagonally and vertically as well. They score the same as horizontal words
Tip: Scan diagonally and vertically last – these words often appear after you have completed other words. A little fine tuning could score you more points. These also include palindromes and semordnilaps (e.g., dam ↔ mad)
